When something doesn’t go well, I took things personally. It took me a long time to figure out that failure is an event and not a person. Specifically not me or you.

If something didn’t work it could be your current selected technique or strategy or decision making process or emotional displacement or belief or skill level or set of tools.

Identify the change needed and make adjustments to get a different set of result in your next attempt.
